Despite recent attempts to close the democratic space in East Africa including the media space, the media infrastructural development is a run away success. Many media outlets and broadcast institutions continue to be set up not to mention new opportunities being created through Digital broadcasting, the Internet and new media.
But where is the content to fill these expanded spaces?
This service aims to design efficient ways to maximise on these expanded media spaces. We aim to contribute to this by supporting the development and production of quality media content. We achieve this by developing programmes that enhance the capacities of media practitioners to develop quantity, quality and innovative work that adhere to ethical standards and appeal to local and the wider international audiences.
