Synopsis
For over five decades Agriculture has been the backbone of the economy of Kenya. According to the Kenya Bureau of Statistics (2015), agriculture contributes three out of 10 of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). But for horticultural farmers in Uasin Gishu County in Kenya, inability to access information on production and marketing of horticultural products is keeping them in poverty. In this Documentary, we get to know more about this and why it is the women who bear the greater brunt of poor access to such significant information.
