Under this programme, DTM aims to integrate ICTs, Internet-based and social media strategies into its programmes to enhance conventional broadcast and hence broaden their reach and impacts.

The ICT programme also aims to improve organisational efficiency and effectiveness through improved ICT uptake and digital security in its day-to-day work.

The programme will also seek ways to collaborate with county governments to ensure the use of ICTs and communication strategies for improving programmes for public information and education on how county governments are executing county agendas and deploying resources.

THE BARAZA is the development blog page created by DTM. Its main objective is to ensure that the work of development oriented organisations is well known by, and benefit a wide section of the targeted constituencies at the national and grassroots levels. There is a lot happening in the development sector which this media strategy now targets for sustained promotion.

This page will also publish media content developed by the teams from DTM’s capacity development programmes in the area of media and other contributions from local and international correspondents.
